VW Bus with Porsche Fuchs Wheels Swap

Came across this restored CA black plated VW Bus with some clean looking polished Porsche Fuchs Wheels in an alley in HB.  Where else of course.  The polished wheels set this VW Bus off.  Nicely down VW fanatic.

1997 Supra Turbo Royal Sapphire Pearl with chrome stock wheels

You are looking at pretty rare color in this 15th Anniversary Edition Toyota Supra Turbo with factory chrome wheels.  The color is Royal Sapphire Pearl RSP and is estimated at having only 81 cars leaving the factory with that color.  This car is very good condition and has about 80,000 miles on wheels.

Prius with Lexus CT200h Wheels Swap

There are tons of Prius cars on the road nowadays and most if not all that I see have the factory 15in wheels with skinny tires.  Not this white Toyota Prius though.  This one has the factory 17in wheels from a Lexus CT200h Hybrid Crossover.  It makes the Prius look ten times better in my opinion and still retains that factory look.  Looks come with a price though.  There is a reason Toyota puts 15in wheels with skinny tires on these cars.  You know their slogan, ” I want my MPG’s.”  Having these wheels will knock off 6-8 miles per gallon so if you want to stay above your normal 50+ MPG then these wheels are not for you.  You gotta pay if you want to play.  Fear not though because with the better looks these wheels bring, you should also get a quieter and smoother ride along with better handling and performance with the right set of tires.

The CT200h 17in wheels on the Toyota Prius looks really good. A nice subtle OEM upgrade to the mini 15in factory wheels.

Very cleaning looking with 215/45/17 Yokohama tires.

Very cleaning looking with 215/45/17 Yokohama tires.  Some people opt for the 205/50/17, but I think this is a good wheel and tire setup especially if the owner decides to lower it.
